The Ehud Grably Art Foundation serves as a powerful testament to the enduring impact of art to inspire, educate, and transform lives. Established in honor of the visionary Israeli artist Ehud Grably (1961-1994), our foundation is dedicated to art legacy preservation while nurturing the next generation of artistic innovators. Our mission is to honor Ehud Grably's artistic vision by promoting his bespoke artwork, supporting emerging artists, and advancing the field of 'Ontological Abstraction' in contemporary art. We aim to preserve and promote Grably’s legacy by maintaining and expanding our comprehensive Grably archives, organizing traveling exhibitions in various art galleries that feature his work, and publishing scholarly research on his art and artistic philosophy. Our goal includes digitizing Grably's entire oeuvre for global accessibility, allowing us to showcase his unique pieces effectively. The Ehud Grably Art Foundation is intrinsically linked to the GrablyGlobal Academic arm of our organization, focusing extensively on educational programs. We plan to offer workshops and masterclasses inspired by Grably's techniques, develop curriculum materials for schools and universities, and host annual lectures and symposia discussing the significance of 'Ontological Abstraction' as a previously unrecognized late twentieth-century artistic movement. Additionally, we are working on introducing an artist residency program that will provide annual residencies for emerging artists to study Grably's original artworks, fostering mentorship opportunities with established artists and curators, and curating exhibitions showcasing works produced during these residencies alongside fine art reproductions of Ehud Grably's original pieces.
GrablyGlobal is committed to its long-term goal of providing research grants and scholarships that support scholars studying Grably's work and its context, as well as offering scholarships for promising art students focusing on abstract expressionism and 'Ontological Abstraction.' Our objectives also include community outreach programs that provide free art classes for underprivileged youth, partnerships with local schools for comprehensive art education programs, and engaging the wider global art community through public lectures and gallery discussions. Our conservation efforts aim to establish a state-of-the-art conservation laboratory for Grably's original artworks, train art conservators specializing in late twentieth-century art, and research innovative conservation techniques for modern materials. GrablyGlobal will embrace digital initiatives that include virtual reality experiences of Grably's life and creative process, as well as interactive online platforms for exploring his artworks and a podcast series discussing his influence on contemporary art. We also plan to implement an annual Ehud Grably art prize to celebrate emerging artists working in the spirit of 'Ontological Abstraction,' providing the winner with an exhibition opportunity at a prestigious art gallery in London or New York, along with a mentorship program featuring renowned artists and curators from around the globe.
GrablyGlobal continuously seeks to collaborate with museums and art galleries to facilitate the loan of Grably's artworks for major exhibitions, co-curating shows that contextualize Grably within the broader art historical narrative and supporting the acquisition of his work by public institutions. Our publishing initiatives include producing a definitive first edition Catalogue Raisonné of Grably's work, publishing monographs on various facets of his art and philosophical stance, and creating educational materials suitable for diverse age groups. We will also explore sustainability initiatives, implementing eco-friendly practices in all our foundation’s activities, supporting artists bridging art with environmental awareness, and developing a 'green' artist residency program. Our international exchange programs will foster cultural exchanges between Israeli and global artists, organizing traveling exhibitions that promote global understanding through art, while hosting international conferences on abstract art and artistic philosophy.
The Ehud Grably Art Foundation will ultimately be funded through a combination of proceeds from the sale of limited edition prints and licensed merchandise from our GrablyGlobal Luxury Lifestyle Brand; a percentage of sales from GrablyGlobal's other commercial ventures, including couture, interior design, and hospitality offerings; donations from art patrons and corporate sponsors; and grants from cultural institutions. GrablyGlobal is dedicated to complete financial transparency, committing to publish annual reports detailing our income, expenditures, and the impact of our programs. We warmly invite art lovers, scholars, artists, and philanthropists to join us in our mission. Whether through financial support, volunteer work, or participation in our programs, your involvement can play a crucial role in preserving Ehud Grably’s artistic legacy and nurturing the upcoming artists of tomorrow. By supporting the Ehud Grably Art Foundation, you are not only honoring the past but also investing in the future of art. Together, we can ensure that the spirit of innovation, the power of abstraction, and the depth of philosophical inquiry inherent in Grably's artworks continue to inspire and challenge generations to come. Discover. Create. Transform. The Ehud Grably Art Foundation, where legacy meets the future, and art knows no bounds.
